    On 22 August 2018 in Auckland, in the presence of the Polish President Andrzej Duda and the New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, several bilateral agreements have been signed to strenghten Polish-New Zealand cooperation.

    The following agreements have been signed:

     

    1. Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of New Zealand - signed by Andrzej Papierz, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Poland and Fletcher Tabuteau, Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs New Zealand.
    2. Partnership Agreement between Kazimierz Dolny in the Republic of Poland and Pahiatua in New Zealand - signede by Zbigniew Gniatkowski, Ambassador of Poland to New Zealand and Tracey Collis, Mayor of Tararua District.
    3. Memorandum of Understanding between Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Faculty of International and Political Studies, Department of National Security, Poland, and Massey University of New Zealand Centre for Defence and Security Studies.
    4. Academic Cooperation Agreement between the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Political Science and International Studies and the Victoria University of Wellington Centre for Strategic Studies.

     

    The intergovernmental agreement on civil aviation, academic agreements as well as local government agreement should contribute to strengthening relations between our countries and people.
