    SEPTEMBER 2018


    ** Exhibition Józef Piłsudki. A Polish and European statesman is available at the Pou Maumahara Gallery, level 2 at Auckland War Memorial Museum until the end of September 2018. The display was recently viewed by the Presidential Couple together with Governor General Patsy Reddy. The display has been organised jointly by the Polish Embassy in Wellington and the Auckland Museum for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poland Regained Independence.


    OCTOBER 2018


    ** Saturday, 6 October, St Patrick’s College Hall in Kilbirnie, Wellington - celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the first Polish School establishment in Wellington; anniversray luncheon (ticketed) will be held with other free events featuring Polish School and Orlęta Dance Ensemble performances, a book lanuch of „Polish Schools in New Zealand”, a visit of a full scale model of the Wellington Polish School class, photo slideshows and displays; for more information contact Helena: or visit Facebook page: Polish School Wellington


    ** Sunday, 7 October, St Patrick’s College Hall in Kilbirnie - Polish Association in New Zealand (Inc.) will hold annual  Polish Festival. Supported by the Polish Embassy, the Festival offers abundance of music, dance, food and arts


    NOVEMBER 2018


    ** Saturday, 17 November (11am - 8pm) - Wellington Polish Christmas Market - this year the organisers are expanding outdoors and extending market hours so that more visitors can enjoy the market in comfort; this means more stalls, more food, more seating and an outdoor stage so that visitors can enjoy seasonal and performances from Poland and beyond; this year the Polish Association extends a warm invitation to its friends from other European communities and hope they will enrich the Wellington Polish Christmas Market by adding their festive traditions; please contact Helena on to get involved
